I find it curious that it’s easy for us to understand how people can have diabetes and we have sympathy. We don’t tell them to just stop thinking about sugar and everything would be okay. We don’t say maybe they would get better if they changed the way they thought. We say to them, “We are sorry and that it must be difficult.” Why then does the most important organ in the body be treated different? It’s the only organ that named itself. Right there should tell us something. An observation I have really known and dealt with for over 25 years. This is my truth.
